Harold Reid, the bass singer for The Statler Brothers, dies from kidney failure at his home in Staunton, Virginia. He wrote more than a dozen of the quartet's hits, including "Do You Know You Are My Sunshine," "The Class Of '57" and "How To Be A Country Star." The gospel-bred group joined the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008
